American Idol is a Joke

Okay, it’s officially become a joke.  I’ve been a longtime American Idol follower since the initial first season when Kelly Clarkson started it all and I’ve stuck through it for the most part.  I’ve always found it great that a lot of these talented voices that wouldn’t be heard otherwise have a chance to become a bonafide pop star and live out their dreams of being a successful singer.  However, I’ve felt that through the years the show has become less and less relevant, which shouldn’t be a surprise as most people seem to being sharing the sentiment.

Same Fudge, New Toppings

Do things look a bit strange, less “fudge-like” perhaps?  To the few of you who regularly read my EGBDF blog, I’d first like to give you my sincerest thanks for glancing at my musical musings and sticking with it since its inception almost a year ago.  Secondly, everything that was ever posted there has been integrated into this new site which is obviously my own personal website.  And yes, the genre hopping twentysomething’s name is indeed Jorge.

I’ll still post my notoriously infrequent updates but now that I’m no longer confined to simply writing about music there should be some semblance of increased activity, the keyword being should.  Besides music I’m also passionate about technology and gadgets and the entertainment industry so those types of posts may show up here as well.

To those of you who had never heard of the obscure music blog formerly known as Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge, I encourage you to read my past entries as it’ll give you a good idea as to whether you should bother coming back to this site in the future.  Thanks for taking the time to drop by.
